I'm Ann Marie, founder of AMG Optimus Ltd.

I help businesses find the things that are holding them back — the repetitive tasks, the bottlenecks, the problems that keep coming back — and I fix them. Properly. So they stay fixed.

I've always been obsessed with seeing businesses succeed. I walk into a company and I can't help it — I see where brilliant people are being held back by things that just shouldn't be taking up their day. That's been my whole career. Finding those things and fixing them.

Optimus QPI — our flagship product — was built to solve a real problem for tradespeople: quoting and invoicing shouldn't take hours or happen late at night. It should be fast, accurate, and easy.

Our Story

AMG Optimus Ltd. was founded in Co. Mayo — a place rooted in hard work and community. That spirit shapes everything we do.

Our mission is simple: help businesses work smarter, not harder.

I've spent my career going into businesses, watching how they actually work day to day, and finding the things that are costing them time and money. Then I fix them — with practical solutions that stick.

We looked at tradespeople and agri contractors — the backbone of this country — and we saw them sitting at kitchen tables at ten o'clock at night doing paperwork after a ten-hour day on site. Handwritten quotes. Excel spreadsheets. Chasing invoices. Missed VAT.

That's wrong. So we fixed it.

We launched Optimus QPI. We have paying subscribers. We've been confirmed on Phase 3 of the New Frontiers programme at ATU iHub — one of Enterprise Ireland's flagship startup programmes. And we're just getting started.

Now we're launching Optimus Apex — our operational intelligence service for trades and SMEs. We find where time is being lost and fix it with modern tools like AI-powered automation and smart quoting. Built and delivered from Mayo, creating local roles as we grow.

The Team

AMG Optimus was co-founded by Ann Marie Gavin, combining deep process improvement expertise with technical engineering talent. Together with our co-founder's software engineering background, we bring over two decades of experience in making complex work simple.

We're supported by the New Frontiers programme at ATU iHub, the Local Enterprise Office, and Enterprise Ireland. The infrastructure, the talent, and the community are all right here in Mayo.

Where We're Going

Our passion is helping businesses succeed. Most businesses have inefficiencies they can't see — things costing them time and money every single day. We find those, fix them, and give that time back to the people inside those businesses so they can do what they're brilliant at.

Ireland first. Then the UK. Then North America. Big ambition. But it was born right here in Mayo.

Our headquarters will be right here in Mayo. And that's something we'll never forget.
